Common questions

I forgot my parent PIN. Open the parent zone and tap "Forgot PIN" — you'll be asked for the 12-character recovery code shown when you first set up PodFocus. The recovery code lives only on your device (in the iOS Keychain) and isn't sent to us, so we can't look it up. If you don't have it, deleting and reinstalling the app will clear local data and let you start over.

A podcast won't play. Episodes are streamed directly from the show's publisher. If a particular episode keeps failing, it may be a publisher-side issue or a network hiccup — please email us with the show name and episode title.

My kid's "today" minutes are stuck at zero. Make sure you're looking at the right profile in the parent zone — listening time is per-profile, not per-device. If it still looks wrong, force-quit and reopen PodFocus once, then check again.

Can I share a profile to my kid's own iPad? Yes. Open the parent zone for that kid, tap "Share \(name) with Another Device," and follow the prompts to invite the other Apple ID. The kid's library, daily limits, and listening history will sync. The parent zone stays only on your device.

Can I use PodFocus on Android? Not yet. PodFocus is currently iPhone and iPad only. If Android support is important to you, let us know — demand helps us prioritize.
